Have you ever cried so hard you forgot how to breathe,
your body and mind clawing for air
while your heart sinks deeper,
too heavy to move,
too quiet to care.
The world blurs at the edges,
and all you can do is sit inside the ache,
the kind that drowns out thought,
that pulls you under
until you forget where you end
and the emptiness begins.
But somewhere in that stillness,
a breath will come.
Not because you looked for it,
not because it’s easy,
but because you’re still here.
And for now,
that’s is all and it’s enough.
