Blink and you'll miss it

The curve of your cheek
Glistens and shines in amethyst hues
Cerulean and ginger merge in a pre twilight sky.
Clouds of white
Wander sluggishly across the sky.
Slothfully moving in aimless paths
The air is thick with humidity.
In the west the sun tenderly kisses the horizon.
Soft as a long lost lover.
But deadly as Judas
as the sunset is lost to times crushing weight.
As are the minutes, the days.
Quickly racing by
And you and I but a blink in an eye
